In Ghana we have created a large physical diabetes prevention, health, and nutrition center that feeds 350 children per day as well as 50 seniors in our own building. We also have training set up here to train the non-professional health workers to teach in the Baika Kingdom and its outlining areas, which are about 1.5 million people. It is also associated on the same campus with a progressive education school teaching nutrition and farming as part of the curriculum.
A unique aspect to Ghana is they have no statistics on diabetes, so we are creating a starting point in three regions: rural, semi-rural, and urban for diabetes screening to establish some reliable statistics. This includes the rural area of the Baika Kingdom, the semi-rural area of Ho, and the urban area of Accra; we are doing a survey of 1,000 people in each of these regions to assess the prevalence of diabetes. Once we have this statistical information, we will provide a home-centered treatment program for those identified with diabetes with the help of the non-professional health workers. The vision is for this diabetes and assessment program to reach the entire nation. We are in the process of getting the donations needed to provide glucometers to the people of Ghana so this diabetes assessment can be made.
NIGERIA

In Nigeria we have a school that also acts as a nutrition center where we are feeding 350 children per day. We have equipped the school with a well for clean water and a garden to teach the children how to garden. The people of the Biafra tribe, with whom Rabbi Gabriel Cousens, M.D. is working, are genetically one of the lost tribes of Israel and the people there are aware of their Hebrew origins. Rabbi Gabriel Cousens, M.D. has held a Kabbalistic Shamanic Shabbat there, which included all the chiefs in the Biafra region; this resulted in a powerful energetic transmission of the lineage of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
In conjunction with Portable Practical Educational Preparation, Inc. (PPEP), King Nana Otimpong Otibribi III of Ghana, Dr.Clement or C.A.C. Eronini acting Eze (King) of the Awo Mbeiri Kingdom in Nigeria, and the Tree Of Life Foundation, we have created the West Africa Rural Empowerment Society, which is has official NGO status.
The intention of all these programs from their seed positions is to become national programs. We presently are exploring Ethiopia as an additional nation to set up in the same manner as a way to expand this vision.
In addition to these programs we are also doing work with the Native American population in the US in conjunction with Dennis Banks, head of the American Indian Movement (AIM), and were supportive of his Walk Across America for Diabetes. With Rabbi Gabriel Cousens, M.D. speaking at the end of the march in Washington, D.C. in 2011. Eventually these efforts will move into a more preventative program for the Native American world.
